As part of the construction activities to make College Station safer and accessible, overnight work activities are required to carry out work related to utility installation and foundation/structural support for the next three weeks. The work activities expected to take place overnight include the following: From August 30 to September 3, the contractor will be conducting activities related to the combined sewer located just south of College Street. o Equipment used will include work vehicles, an excavator and a hydro vacuum truck. From September 6 to September 17 (excluding weekends), the contractor will be installing micro piles. o Equipment used will include work vehicles and a drill rig machine. Noise can be expected with this work. Crews will monitor the noise levels and make efforts to keep noise to a minimum as best as possible.
